July Drive

for the last time, yesterday around noon, we rode together again-
silence steals tangible, but in my grasp again we talked-
on the way to dad, this time II at the wheel, we laughed again-
Ere three, these two were soon to be, again-
another grave reminder; because often I forget-
but probably never again...
